The NetApp FAS3210 is a 730 TB system that has 240 maximum drives. It is a single enclosure HA with two controllers in a single 3U chassis. It has 8GB memory and a maximum flash capacity of 512 GB. It supports FC, FCoE, IP SAN (iSCSI), NFS, CIFS, HTTP, and FTP. The system uses Data ONTAP 7 and 8. It has ACP, Alternate Control Path, and features an Ethernet based service processor, redundant hot swappable controllers, cooling fans, optics, and power supplies. It corresponds to the IBM 2858-C10 (N6210).
The FAS3240 from NetApp has a maximum capacity of 1,800 TB with 600 maximum drives. It is a single enclosure HA with two controllers in a single 3U chassis. It has double the memory of the FAS3210 at 16 GB. The maximum flash cache is 1 TB. The system uses Data ONTAP 7 and 8 for its OS. It supports the following networking: FC, FCoE, IP SAN (iSCSI), NFS, CIFS, HTTP, and FTP. The high availability features of the system include ACP, redundant hot swappable controllers, power supplies, cooling fans, and optics. It correlates to IBM 2858-C21 (N6210) and 2858-E11 (N6240).
The NetApp FAS3270 system offers 2,880 TB for its maximum system capacity with 960 maximum drives. The system is a single enclosure HA with two controllers in a single 3U chassis. The server has 40 GB of memory and a maximum flash capacity of 2 TB. As with the other servers in the series, it works with Data ONTAP. It can support FC, FCoE, IP SAN (iSCSI), NFS, CIFS, HTTP, and FTP for storage networking. The FAS3240 also has power supplies, cooling cans, optics, ACP, and redundant hot swappable controllers as part of their high availability features. This product corresponds to the IBM 2858-C22 (N6240) and 2858-E12 (N6270).

NetApp’s FAS3170 is the largest of this group and offers 1,680 TB of maximum space and 840 disk drives. It has 32 GB of memory is the same machine as IBM 2858-A11 (N6070).
